Fascinated by nature, Vladimir’s photography includes a collection of landscapes taken throughout Norway. ‘Bergen’ encapsulates the small town charm and metropolitan character of Norway’s second largest city. Situated on the west coast of Norway and referred to as the ‘Heart of the Fjords’ Bergen is home to the famous Bryggen. Listed as a World Heritage Site, Bryggen is a glorious remnant of when Bergen was a key centre for trade between Norway and Europe. Today, the wharf houses a museum, shops, galleries, restaurants, and is a focal point for both locals and visitors.

Bergen is made with an analog medium format camera on color negative film (type 120). In the post-process, there is no software photo manipulation involved. What you see is exactly what Vlad saw in his camera viewfinder before he pressed the shutter.
