Trollstigen, Norway

If you’re up for a bit of  road trip with a difference then a trip up Trollstigen is definitely worth the drive. Trollstigen is an impressive mountain pass that twists and turns through eleven hairpin bends up the steep mountain sides in Romsdalen Valley. The road connects Åndalsnes with the village of Valldal in Sunnmøre with waterfalls and spectacular views down through the valley once at the top. We did this drive last June on our way to Molde from Elverum and what a beautiful road trip it was. We were in a little convertible we borrowed from a friend and while the weather was a little chilly at times it was a great way to experience the unique beauty of this road. Would definitely recommend adding this to your ‘to do’ list while in Norway.
