Hadeland Glassworks, Hadeland Norway

Located 40km north of Oslo, Hadeland Glassverk was founded in 1762 and is the country’s oldest continuously operating industrial enterprise. It is here that history meets contemporary world-class design. During its daily operation there is close collaboration between designers and glassblowers and the results are not only on display throughout the glasswork’s various boutiques and showrooms but also in numerous public buildings around the world, in the form of stunning decorative pieces and lighting projects.

Today, Hadeland Glassworks is a popular destination for visitors from all corners of the globe. Throughout the grounds there are 11 shops, 4 dining establishments, glass museum and glass hut, glass blowing displays and various other activities and entertainment are on offer all year round! A new and enchanting Christmas store has also opened in Gallery 2.
